Centre for Living with Dying Support Groups
The Centre for Living with Dying offers support groups that address the following topics:
- Dimensions of Grief
Dimensions of Grief is intended for adults who have experienced the loss of a loved one. The group meets on Saturday mornings from 10:00am - 11:30am. - Healing Heart
The Healing Heart group is intended for families with children who have lost a loved one. The group meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm - 7:30pm for 8 weeks. For more information on this program, please click here: Healing Heart. - Holiday Drop-In Group
The Holiday Group is intended for those who are experiencing the loss of a loved one over the holiday season. This 8 week support group meets Monday evenings from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. - Living with the Death of a Child
Living with the Death of a Child is intended for individuals who have experienced the death of a child. The group meets on Saturday mornings from 12:00am - 1:30pm . - Living with the Death of a Parent
Living with the Death of a Parent is intended for individuals who have experienced the death of a parent. The group meets on Thursday evenings from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. - Living with the Death of a Partner / Spouse
Living with the Death of a Partner or Spouse is intended for individuals who have experienced the loss of a partner or spouse. The group meets Monday evenings from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. - Survivors of Suicide
Survivors of Suicide is intended for individuals who have lost a loved one to death by suicide. The group meets Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. - HIV / AIDS Rejuvenation Retreat
Three times a year, the Centre for Living with Dying hosts an HIV / AIDS Rejuvenation Retreat. The retreat is open to anyone living with, caretaking for, or affected by HIV / AIDS. The retreat is meant to be a day of relaxation and support for participants and is free to join.
